A Word of Wisdom

 

 

Heresy and the heretic

Prophecy and the prophet,

The former reject

And the latter accept.

 

Judge each by the Word

Therein is the discernment:

One speaks the Word of God

The other has evil intent.

 

If it’s the word of God

It will definitely come true,

Since the prophet is His mouthpiece

It will line up with Scripture too.

 

Don’t trust the heretic

Even when he uses the Word,

He will take it out of context

And the lines will be blurred.

 

Prophet or heretic

You had better make sure,

Don’t be mislead by impressions

Satan has tricks galore.

 

 

Be immersed in the Word

And be aware of the truth,

Counterfeits are easily spotted

When God’s Word is the proof.

 

In the world heresy abounds

And truth is oft out voted

Sometimes even in the church

This is to be noted.

 

The majority is given the right

When often they are wrong

But God will vindicate the right

And truth will remain strong.

 

 

Prophecy or Heresy

There is a dire need to judge

And once it’s based on the Word

Stand firm; don’t budge.

  

We are warned in these days

That deception will abound

And if not grounded in the Word,

Many will tumble down.

 

Many will ascend great heights

And be treated like gods,

Their followers will be deluded

Not recognizing them as frauds.

 

They believe not the truth

But find comfort in a lie,

They follow hard after heresy

And the Word of God deny.

 

Let this not be your epitaph

After your sojourn here

But remember that wisdom starts

With godly respect and fear.

 

 

Be aware and be wary

Of the adversary’s wiles

And do not partake in his heresy

Though it may be the popular lifestyle.
