Twice a Slip
My tongue I bit
That was the first slip
Before I knew it
Next was my lip
R.I.P.
I was looking down
While you frowned
This time around
We’re both looking down
My Regret
It’s good to know
That you told me so
But friend or foe
I just had to go
My Regret Again
My wrongs I make
And that’s my state
Whether you love or hate
That’s my plate
That’s Life
He was just here
Now he is there
We’re not sure where
But he’s no longer here

A Silly Boast
Nothing I fear
Whether here or there
So you beware
‘Cause I don’t care
Without Warning
At first a speck
Then we saw the wreck
After gross neglect
No life on deck
An Appointment
It hasn’t happened yet
But don’t you fret
You too he will get
On the date that is set
A Daily Ritual
He dutifully prayed
Then he did it his way
Each and every day
He still went astray
Regret Once More
Satan came a poking
Your fire he was a stroking
Now your friends are joking
And you find it revolting
