What A Lie!

 

 

The Devil is a liar

I have heard believers say

Yet Satan has had much success

In getting us to go his way.

 

I have entitled this poem

“What A Lie”

And soon it will be clear to you

The reason why.

 

Two contrasting positions

And only one can be true:

The Genesis account must be

And not the Big Bang view.

 

Nothing travels like a lie

Especially one that is huge,

It starts with some scientist

Making science its groove.

 

Reason is clearly absent,

Common sense? Not even near!

Irrationality is the clutch

And folly is put in gear.

 

 

And there was nothing…

Then came a huge explosion,

Big Bang had arrived,

Thus, the grand delusion.

 

Started by you know who,

It was the Devil himself

And then follow science books,

Maybe one’s on your shelf.

 

If you must tell a lie,

I recall hearing someone say,

Tell a gigantic one

Then step out of the way.

 

Long after it’s proven wrong

It’ll still make the rounds

Just like the Big Bang theory

Moving by leaps and bounds.

 

Big Bang is the biggest lie

That ever was told

And to tell such a huge lie

One has to be bold.

 

Gaining more ground

Than the tried and proven facts,

Oh, what a lie!

Big Bang is just that! 

 

 

What a lie!

And here in second place

Is another colossal lie

Staring us in the face.

 

That one is not what one is

At the time of one’s birth

Would at a time not long ago

Generate much mirth.

 

Genitalia was the decider,

Whether girl or boy

And that sex and that gender

Would be for life deployed.

 

But along came the lie

And oh, what a lie!

I can be what gender I feel

And thus, the truth, deny.

 

What delusions of grandeur

Doth clog up one’s brain?

What feelings of the heart

Causing the mind to be lame?

 

 

Big Bang, however conceived,

Can never be a reality,

Neither can this colossal lie

We call gender fluidity.

 

Big bang is about confusion,

It is nothing organized,

So too is gender fluidity

And thus, should be despised.

 

It is really evil,

I know this sounds horrible

But it denies the Creator,

Get it straight, people!

 

Male and female

The Almighty created man

And chose to call that first union

By the name Adam.

 

Out of man came woman

But this was only at the first,

Ever since that first woman

This process was reversed.

 

A man cannot give birth,

Certainly, not naturally,

And a sperm generating woman

Would never be.

 

She may carry sperm

But she was not the source,

Quite naturally it required a man

And his ejaculative force.

 

 

These are two colossal lies

That have divided the world,

Both denying God as Creator

And His infallible Word.

Not Every Reverend

 

 

Not every Reverend

Is a man of God

Because not every Reverend

Is of the called.

 

Such are imposters

If never called

And a simple word for these

Would be fraud.

 

I am not very good

At telling the difference

Since I am inclined to relate

To biblical content.

 

This allows for me

To map out my course

And not be misled by their power

Or rules they enforce.

 

 

A title is just that

And not anything more

If the wearer just has plasters

For a spiritual sore.

 

I expect much more

From a man of God

That has been made aware

He has been called.

 

Called to a purpose

And given a plan

Straight out of God’s Holy Word

For every man.

 

Man being generic

Meaning women too

And since they are two genders,

That means me or you.

 

Male and female

With no in between

That is now so common place

On today’s scene.

 

Not every Reverend,

I must reiterate,

Has been called of the Lord

At any rate.

 

Whether they are many

Or there is a dearth

A Reverend that was not called

Has little worth.

 

Be wise to their tricks

In the light of the Word

And whenever you are in doubt

To the Bible defer.

 

 

Fall not for titles

And they are quite a few,

Reverend is surely one of them

And Apostle too.

Fact and Feeling

 

 

What you see

May or may not be real,

What you feel

May be a fail.

 

What you know

May not be correct,

What you think you know?

Worse, may I inject.

 

Who you are

Must first be family,

What you are

Is definitely reality.

 

Our reality

We may change

But nature’s reality

Can’t be rearranged.

 

Fiction is fiction

And fact is fact,

The latter we’d better accept

And sensibly adapt.

 

It is folly to decide

To have a gender change

If you hate what you are

And feeling strange.

 

Impossible to change

One’s gender or sex,

One’s originality

Is permanently set.

 

Trapped in a body

And want to get out?

That is suicidal

Without a doubt.

 

Need I say more

About the previous verse?

Death is certain,

It is a curse.

 

 

Male and female-

God created two,

Matters not who you are

Or your view.

 

Much has changed

In a man’s thinking,

And in immoral decay

He is ever sinking.

 

Pretending to be God

He’s making a mess,

He has now gone as far

As gender-less.

 

A choice to be male

Or female,

Both or neither,

Cat, dog or whale.

 

To be who he feels

Or what he wants

And having achieved

Forever flaunts.

 

Neither fish nor fowl

Pseudo this or that

And at his whim or fancy

Changing right back.

 

What will happen

To the new ID cards?

To show all these identities

Will surely be hard.

 

And the rapid changes

Re this fluidity?

How do we treat

To this pseudo reality?

 

Countries sign on

To make it happen

And those against

Are being threatened.

 

Who you are

May not be who you be,

Fact and fiction

Changing constantly.

 

I pity the children

In our schools,

They may very well be

Educated fools.

 

What an oxy-!

Leave off moron!

Morons are counter-productive

To education.

 

Educated fool

Did not previously exist,

But modern-day law

Now insists.

 

What you see

Is not what you get,

More like what you see

Is what you accept.

Discerning the Real

 

I know the title is strange

But this is where we are today,

The real is not easily distinguished

When feelings get in the way.

 

A feeling is only as real

As the feeling you are feeling

When you are feeling

The feeling you are feeling.

 

This is sometimes more

That what some people can take

And as a result

They rush off to tempt fate.

 

One’s feeling and reality

Are in fact, two different things,

And not seeing the difference

Can bring much suffering.

 

What if I feel I am a bird

Does that make me one?

Try putting that to the acid test

And for sure you’d be gone.

 

 

What if you are a male

But are feeling a female inside

Wouldn’t it make sense to get help

Rather than the feeling imbibed?

 

Feeling might be your reality

But if it is not real

Even your superhero attempts

Are likely to fail.

 

Feelings,

Nothing more than feelings

Is ample enough ammunition

To send a person reeling.

 

Fake it till you make it

Does not work with one’s gender,

You are what the equipment says

Even though a pretender.

 

The equipment qualifies you

Regardless of how you may feel,

And that penis says boy or man

And this is a done deal.

 

No surgical procedures

Will change your cell structure,

Your DNA is your birth stamp;

It’s your real picture.

 

Feeling is not a fact

But one’s DNA is, my friend,

And what it said at the beginning

It will say at your end.

 

Absolutely poor is the argument

That “feelings” is who we are

For such is more like the moon

Claiming to be a star.

 

It has no light of its own

And thus, must depend on the sun

And if the sun refuses to shine

Alas, the moon has none.

 

To conceive a man can conceive

Is to conceive a colossal lie

For such will only be possible

When the eagle births a fly.

 

All of this so-called science

That we say that we are following

Is nothing more than a cheap thrill

For all who are swallowing.

 

A feeling is just a feeling,

A feeling is never a fact

Other than the fact you are feeling

And a feeling is just that.

 

If you feel like you are a female

But trapped in a male body,

Your equipment proves you wrong

Unless you are a dummy.

 

 

If your genitalia say female

But you are otherwise inclined,

Then you are not being wise at all

If you follow right behind.

 

If your feelings get ahead

Please stand back and watch,

It is easier to live with your feelings

Than to be what you are not.

 

One race and two genders only

Are all there will ever be,

In His own image God created man

And this is the reality.

 

Having a woman’s equipment

Cannot a real man make,

The most you’ll get for your trouble

Will be a real-life fake.

 

 

And if an appendage is obvious

You will never be a female,

Notwithstanding the millions spent

To create your fairy tale.

 

Now let the Word of God speak

As only God’s Word can,

A man can never ever be a woman

Or can a woman be a man.

 

Genesis 1:27; 5:2

 

God Created man in His own image,

In the image of God created He him;

Male and female created He them

And bless them and call their name Adam

In the day when they were created.

 

Matthew 19:4

 

And he answered and said unto them,

Have ye not read,

That he which made them at the beginning

Made them male and female.

 

Romans 3:4

 

Let God be true

But every man a liar!

 

Remember, my erudite friend,

An opinion is not a fact,

Neither is your feeling the reality

Because you say it is that.

Whose Jargon?

 

 

 

Once when you say a word

Something would come to mind

And it would be the same for everyone

Almost all of the time.

 

Communication was simpler then

Than it is today,

Our words are being corrupted

In so many different ways.

 

I remember when I was younger

Not very long ago,

Words were fairly straightforward

Now today, it’s not so.

 

If you said the word ‘come’

One meaning would be forthcoming

But into today’s economy,

That word now evokes grinning.

 

Enough said about that, though,

I am going to move along,

Concerning this poem’s content

I feel particularly strong.

 

It’s about a newfound jargon

Pertaining to a group,

I am totally flabbergasted

Re the level they have stooped.

 

I could truly understand

If the cause was really essential

But far from being such,

It’s not even a nonessential.

 

Some things are not essential

But you’d like to have them still,

They may be of cosmetic value

And give a wholesome thrill.

 

For men it might be a car stereo

With buttons, whistles and all,

For the women it might be curtains-

Household decor is their call.

 

I must emphasize wholesome

Don’t let us get mixed up:

Don’t be confused with the LGBTQ2

And their prescribed bitter cup.

 

 

Why can’t I use the word ‘gay’

Without being frowned upon?

It once used to mean delightfully happy

Now it’s a word I should shun.

 

It has come to mean derogation

Or, you could become entrapped,

Or something so abominable,

There is no way of getting back.

 

It is now controlled by a group

That’s taking the world by storm,

They are suggesting very forcefully

We can be different from how we were born.

 

It does not matter your DNA

And it does not matter your sex,

What matters is how “you feel inside”

Delight in it even if others get vex.

 

That brings me to another word

A word that we must give up,

And limp away with “tail between legs”

Like the proverbial ungratified pup.

 

 

Gender is the word I mean

Once clear to man woman and child,

Now it is no longer binary

But has become irreparably defiled.

 

“Give it up,” some may suggest,

“We can get along without it.”

But don’t you get the impression here of late

That giving up is becoming our habit?

 

Hence, a jargon all their own,

Stolen, not even on loan

And all we can do is moan,

While they pick clean every bone.

 

‘Homophobic’ if you dare disagree-

A word not heard before,

But it certainly belongs to this clan,

I’m not finished, there is more.

 

Of all the phobias that I know

This must be the most recent one,

And like all the other phobias,

I seriously wish it were gone.

 

‘Tolerance’: they have none

But they demand it nevertheless,

And ‘discrimination’ is only an offense

When you put them to the test.

 

Other words are being morphed

Family is certainly one of them,

And with family, will go our children,

That is another problem.

 

‘Apathy’ and ‘sympathy’ are on their side

Enough to skew any vote,

“Why can’t we leave them alone”

Is now the daily quote.

 

Tiny mites before, now with great might

They are winning every fight,

Each quarter we yield is also a right

Fast encroaches the night.

 

It’s time to stop for a reality check

And arrest this damning slide,

Then reclaim the words that we’ve lost

Before we are forced to hide.

 

Because…

 

Now, we have to tiptoe around

While they are calling all the shots,

And the words they choose

We must be prepared to lose,

We are now in the inferior spot.

Of Heads and Bosses

 

 

The man is the head of the home

But that doesn’t make him boss,

If there are any bosses in the home

That home is experiencing loss.

 

The man is head of the woman

Even as Jesus is head of the Church,

But this has been misinterpreted

By many a so-called expert.

 

“He can’t be no head over me,

He must first earn it.”

Yes, that is coming from a Christian,

That is her edict.

 

 

The headship of the woman

Is not what a man can merit

But that authority comes from Almighty God

Who takes all the credit.

 

“I am the boss in here

And I can do whatever I like.”

Yes, that too is coming from a Christian

But he has no such right.

 

Search the Bible all through

And you won’t find the word boss,

Some may argue not the actual word

But in that too they have lost.

 

There is no boss in the family

And being boss doesn’t make a man,

And in any case as we have seen

Boss is not akin to God’s plan.

 

 

Male and female he made them both

To walk with hand in hand,

He is the head to take care of her

And together they execute God’s plan.

 

That is, raising up godly seed-

The mission of them both

And filling the earth with the love of God

From coast to coast.

 

She was taken from his side

To walk alongside,

Never ahead of him or behind him

Or for him to despise.

 

No boss in the family

I must repeat,

Just a head as God designated

And the head’s helpmeet.

 

As a body without a head is useless

So is a head without a body,

And when a head becomes a boss

That’s the recipe for anarchy.
