Christmas Baby

silhouette nativity scene

I am a Christmas baby

Regarding my birth

And please do not think

This was my first day on earth.

I was not born

On a Christmas day,

Oh no my cherished reader,

Not in that way.

Date and day

Is not important here

But the fact that I know

Brings me good cheer.

I am born again

Making me God’s child,

I dare to follow Jesus Christ

Meek and mild.

Jesus’ birth

On that first Christmas day

Opened my eyes to the fact

That he is the way.

And when I said yes

To God’s will and His way

I became a Christmas baby

From that very day.

It has nothing to do

With a festival

And what is more important,

It is not even seasonal.

It is all year round

In the country and the town,

I once was lost

But now I am found.

Jesus is the reason

For the Christmas season

And when he is left out of it,

It’s worse than treason.

Spiritual Birth - The Spiritual Art of Natural Birth

I am a Christmas baby

But by my spiritual birth

And it’s all because one day

Jesus came to earth.

You can argue

All you like

As to the season

Or whether day or night.

But this I know

And am convinced the more

That I am a Christmas baby

And that is for sure.

Worry

Top Things People Worry Most About | Psychological Health Care

A very thin line

Between worry and concern:

Just something new

That I have just learned.

We say we are concerned

When in fact we worry

And that concern is so bad

It causes anxiety.

The mix-up is in the head

Or better still, the mind

And we confuse the two

Most of the time.

So does the dictionary

I actually checked

And if you go there now

You would see I am correct.

6 Alternative Dictionaries Your Bookshelf Needs | Mental Floss

The dictionary records them

As being synonyms

But unbelief brings on worry

And that is a sin.

To be concerned is all right

Actually, you should be

But to be overly concerned

Is to encourage worry.

Be careful for nothing

But be concerned and pray,

Worry should not be encouraged

As the believer’s way.

Jesus showed concerned

But he was never worried,

His focus on his mission

Was fixed and steady.

Worry magnifies the problem

And obscures our view

And we become so stressed

We don’t know what to do.

Don't let worry become a leadership weakness - Know Your Team | Blog

It shorts out the connection

Between us and God,

And we do not hear clearly

When on Him we call.

Worry is noise in the line

That originates from our end

And we often miss the response

That the Master sends.

Hence, we write it down

As unanswered prayer

And this increases our worry

And brings despair.

Whenever we call on God

The answer is always clear,

It is always synced to His Word

You can find it there.

Have faith in God

Even if you do not understand,

Once you are his child

He will hold your hand.

Don’t let worry cause you

To hang down your head

But look towards the Saviour

And remember what he said.

Hebrews 13:5; Matthew 28:20

I will never leave thee

Nor forsake thee.

Lo, I am with you always,

Even unto the end of the world.

Not Even Me

Romans 8:39 Inspirational Image

Having said yes to God
He will in no way accept no,
I am dogmatic about this
Because the Bible says so.

Born into God’s kingdom
Speaks to permanence,
I became His precious child
Via genuine repentance.

According to Romans 8
Verses 35 to 39 to be exact,
I have that assurance
And God’s truth is fact.

Being born again
Is the premise I choose,
My child of the Father status
I can never lose.

Once a child of God
I am always a child of God
Hence, I will not be deceived
Or let Satan defraud.

Romans 8:39 Inspirational Image

From my natural birth
I was my father’s son
But now I am born again
New life has come.

To all that believe
God grants us the power
To be His sons and daughters
From that very hour.

Since I cannot not change
My earthly circumstance
Neither do I have the power
To alter what God has advanced.

What he has put in place
Is His sovereign will
And I know like you do
What he promises he fulfils.

I’ve heard the argument
That I can separate me,
Read Romans chapter 8
And that you won’t see.

It explicitly says nothing
And later implies no one,
Please read from verse 38
And please read on.

This is the word of God
I am sure you agree
So read verse 39
And tell me what you see.

Romans 8:39 Inspirational Image

“Nor any other creature”
Can separate us
From the Love of God
Which is in Christ Jesus.

Put my name right there
I hope you can see,
“Nor any other creature”
Can separate me.

From the love of God
Nothing or no one
Can separate me from God
Ever since I was reborn.

For having said yes to God
I was born again
Hence, being a cast off
Will never be my pain.

I Know Whose I AM

I remember WHO I am when I remember WHOSE I am. (With images ...

I am God’s child; I know I am
I am adopted of God
Through a wonderful plan.

God is my Father; I know He is
He chose me for family
What wonderful bliss!

I am an heir; His word says I am
A joint-heir with Christ
On His word I stand.
ABBA , FATHER. – Harveston Lake Church
I cry Abba Father and He hears
Giving me an audience
To show that He cares.

I go to Him and bare all my heart
I tell Him my cares
Beginning from the start.

He listens intently and then replies
“I am here my child;
I have heard your cries.”

Help is on the way; you’ll soon see
My promises are sure
You can count on me.

Trust me my child; not your eyes
Just walk by faith
Focus beyond the skies.”

I am God’s child; I know I am
I am adopted of God
Through a wonderful plan.

The Spirit gave witness; I am saved
My spirit received it
And I was amazed.

I walk in the way; He shows it to me
The way of righteousness
He points and I see.

Sometimes I fall; he picks me up
Brushes off my knees
Then tends my cuts.

No longer a prodigal; I am His own
Rescued from the wilds
I have access to His throne.

His Spirit is in me; I know for a fact
He guides me along
The most difficult track.

I’m encouraged yet sometimes I fear
But He assures me
That He is always near.

The devil tempts me but I am assured
My father is with me
And I trust Him the more.

I must trust no other, no not ever
My Father walks with me
He will leave me never.

I am God’s child; I know I am
I am adopted of God
Through a wonderful plan.

Do you know whose you are?
I trust that you do
For then you’d be a joint-heir
Like I am too.

God would be your Father
And you’d be His child
Through His wondrous redemption
We would be eternally satisfied.
