The End of All Prophecy

MATTHEW 5:17 (Today's Gospel Reading: Matthew 5:17-19) | A CHRISTIAN PILGRIMAGE

Nothing remains to be fulfilled

Until the coming of the Lord,

Jesus is the end of all prophecy

As it says in the Word.

The OT pointed forward to him

To him, the epistles point back,

Jesus is the Bible’s summation

And that is an historic fact.

Fulfilment means the end

And that end is the Lord Jesus,

Jesus fulfils all prophecy

And in him we must trust.

The Gospels are about him:

Matthew, Mark, Luke and John,

Israel is not the prophetic key

So, my friend be warned!

Israel is a non-democratic apartheid regime, says rights group | Israel | The Guardian

Take your eyes off Israel

Meaning the Jewish nation,

Instead you must look upon Jesus;

He is our eternal salvation.

When you read the Holy Word

Read it with Jesus in mind,

It is his story, you must understand,

Each and every time.

Remember that God is spirit

And none has ever seen His face,

It is His eternal Son, Jesus

That for us takes His place.

Hence, he that has seen the Son

Has also seen the Father,

The Son being the expressed image

Of the unseen Father.

The Father chose to reveal himself

In none other than His Son

Hence, the fulfilment of prophecy

And His everlasting kingdom.

Understanding Joseph and His Dreams: A Message for Our Times

The sun and moon and stars

They all bowed down to him:

A foreshadowing of what was to come

When Jacob’s eyes would dim.

Not about Joseph, the dreamer,

But of the coming Messiah,

About the revelation of Jesus Christ:

The great and mighty deliverer.

And when David slew Goliath

And all the Philistines fled,

That also pointed to Jesus

That will judge the quick and dead.

The fact that all prophecy

Has already been fulfilled

Shows the power of Almighty God

And that gives me a thrill.

He who declares the end

Even before an event begins

Is none other than Jesus the Christ,

The King of all kings.

Jesus the Chosen Stone

He is the chief cornerstone

Of the entire Bible

And the kinsman Redeemer

Of every nation and people.

Now see where this takes us

If with me you will go,

It’s to a world that is out of focus

As both you and I know.

The lamb is now the Lion

The Servant has become the King,

Now he rules in heaven

Let us shout and sing.

All will bow before him,

And they will do so in due time:

Some willingly, others otherwise,

From every land and clime.

1 Corinthians 15:25 He Must Reign Until All Enemies Are Under His Feet (brown)

For Christ must reign

Until all enemies are under his feet,

The last enemy being death

That has also suffered defeat.

Therefore, what should we do?

I will tell you what;

To carry out the great commission

Is the believer’s lot.

The consummation of all things

Is not our concern

But of the Gospel of salvation

We should preach and learn.

Whether he comes tomorrow,

Next month or next year,

We must occupy till Jesus returns

And of his business take care.

If you have been saved

Go and spread the word

Of Jesus, the wonderful Saviour

To whom you defer.

The one who raises the dead

And the one who gives life,

The one who once died

To become our living sacrifice.

Pray, tell me, my friend,

What prophecy is yet to be fulfilled?

None except the end of all things:

That is to be fulfilled still.

If There Were No God

Good Sentence appreciation - If there were no God, there would be no atheists.

If there were no God

I could do what I like,

Except within the law of course,

Which I could change to make wrong right.

If there were no God

I could do to you before you do to me,

No golden rule to foster relationship

Or to ruin my selfish spree.

If there were no God

So much would be possible,

The sky would be the limit

For the powerful and the horrible.

If there were no God

There would be no accountability,

Except for the law of course

Which would be too blind to see.

If there were no God

I could be whatever I want to be:

Transgender, no gender,

Just simple, old deluded me.

Always Numero Uno - Ultrasonic Intelligent Sensors - ClampOn

If there were no God

It would be just first to the line,

And whatever was on offer

All could be mine.

You see, if there were no God

I could be God

And you could be too, if you wanted,

None would be a fraud.

All would be authentic

Within their own right

As long as they could win

The inevitable fight.

If there were no God

What a wonderful place this would be!

Like the fairy tales we read

I would forever live happily.

If there were no God

There would be nothing unimaginable:

No restraints no constraints,

Nothing would be unreachable.

If there were no God

Can’t you see what I mean?

Everyone would be a king or queen, may be both,

If that was their dream.

If there were no God

There would be no God delusion,

We would be clear about our godhood

Instead of this confusion.

Or for that matter, I would be God

And you would be too

And there would be a whole world of Gods

Made up of me and you.

Wouldn’t that be great?

Wouldn’t that be fabulous?

No Confucius or no Mohamed

Not even Jesus!

All of life would be real,

Not some fairy tale

About some Almighty God creating

The first male and female.

Who Were Adam And Eve From The Bible? Why Did God Create Them?

These legends and myths would be understood

For what they really are

And this world, at least for me,

Would be better by far.

But all of this is:

If there were no God,

So please understand the premise

Before you begin to applaud

This “If” will not happen

Since God already exists,

It is time you open your eyes

And clear away the mist.

For if there were no God

There would be no you, no me,

No sky or earth

Or the deep blue sea.

No redemption, no salvation,

No Saviour, no Christ,

Hence, no kinsman redeemer

For our sin-sacrifice.

No life right now,

No life to come,

No Loving Father

To send His only begotten Son.

No Bible, no guide

To guide us into truth,

No questions, no issues,

No evidential proof.

No heaven, no hell

No deliverance from evil,

No Lucifer, no Satan,

No adversary, the Devil.

No life, no death,

No burial, no grave,

Not one of us alive right now, right here!

Hence, nothing would be real!

If there were no God

There would be no accountability

And this for the godless is the issue!

Hopefully, not for you or me!

It therefore follows

Naturally and spiritually,

There must be a God

Given all that we see!

We will be held accountable

Beyond this earthly law,

It will be God’s divine judgment

In which there is no flaw.

Who Might He Be?

Bible Verse of the Day – Isaiah 40:29: God's Power

He hears but He has no ears

He reaches out without hands,

He sees all yet without eyes

He hasn’t a brain but a plan.

He speaks but has no mouth

Is everywhere at the same time,

His power and might are unlimited

He has a will and a mind.

There is nothing He does not know

And none that knows more that He,

The universe He created at the prompt of a word,

Earth’s land and all of its sea.

In Him is life and also light

And nothing can exist without Him,

The sun, moon and stars owe their existence to Him

And of Him the trees clap and sing.

He cannot be touched or be felt

For He is the eternal Spirit

Yet, He can touch and He also feels

As shown in His Holy Writ.

He is not a something but a someone

Though often referred to as which,

However, His many names should give us a clue

And cause an immediate switch.

Jehovah Yahweh is one such name

Revealed by a burning bush,

The fact that it was not being consumed

Brought Moses to the point of trust.

AHAYAH ASHAR AHAYAH. I AM THAT I AM. AHAYAH the God of the Hebrew Israelites | Abba father, Bible inspiration, God

I AM THAT I AM, the self-existing One

Eternal, self-evident and true,

Infallible, transcendent and all together wise

And not influenced by anyone’s view.

He can be known by humankind

Though by human, He is beyond comprehension,

And the fact He called Abraham friend

Shows His desire to form relations.

He transcends time, space and matter

Which baffles the human mind

And the most we can do is acknowledge Him

And worship His Majesty Divine.

He is from everlasting to everlasting

And holds the Universe in space,

Matter and energy are His to command

And no man has seen His face.

He is both immutable and immovable

And cannot be altered over time,

His yea is yea and His nay always nay

And he has never ever changed His mind.

The entirety of all of human knowledge

With His knowledge does not compare

And on a continuum with His Divine wisdom

Man’s wisdom does not even appear.

His understanding is incomprehensible

He sees everything as is all the time,

He knows every motive and intent

And the thoughts of every mind.

He is absolutely pure and holy

And incapable of an unrighteous act,

He cannot lie or break a promise

And nothing He says does He ever retract.

He is more effulgent than the sun

And in Him is no darkness at all,

He is one with the Word and the Holy Spirit

And it is impossible for Him to fall.

He does whatever pleases Him

And to no man owes He any debt,

He is plenteous in mercy and full of grace

And His will is in eternity set.

He is loving and forgiving

And His beneficence knows no bounds,

Regarding His steadfast love and assurance

No equal can be found.

He can be seen in all of nature

Through its varied and delicate designs

And to the one that seeks confirmation

All nature is a sign.

With mankind He seeks a relationship

Through His Son and our Savior, the Christ,

Whom He sent as our kinsman Redeemer

As a once and for all sin sacrifice.

Therein is the measure of His Love

The Creator, Redeemer and Deliverer

And through all of History and time

There is no greater lover.

And who might he be?

Some may still pretentiously ask,

He is God the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit

The only of His kind: a unique class.

The what He has made known to us

The how is not ours to know,

But one thing for certain of which we are sure

He will not refuse any that to Him go.

As a matter of fact

He invites all and sundry to come to Him

Through His blessed Son, the Lord Jesus,

That we might be saved from sin.

Accept Him right this moment

And let Him in your heart reign,

The Lord Jehovah Yahweh and Elohim

All these are His name!

That He Might Fill All Things

Ephesians 4:10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

Ephesians 4:8-10

“Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high,

he led captivity captive,

and gave gifts unto men.

9. (Now that he ascended,

what is it

but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

10. He that descended

is the same also

that ascended up far above all heavens,

that he might fill all things.)”

A tremendous scriptural passage

I am sure you will agree,

But what definitive instruction

Does it hold for you and me?

I had read it many times

And loudly proclaimed it too

But concerning its fuller meaning,

That escaped my view.

“He led captivity captive”

This had become a cliché

And when I wanted to make a point

It was a “go to” verse to share.

It showed the power of Jesus

Who had arisen from the dead

But regarding the captivity’s identity

There was much more as well.

I have a little more grasp now

I must admit

And so, please give me a moment

To share a little bit.

I had seen the Alpha

The Creator of the World

But the Omega was taking shape

Both the same LORD!

He that ascended had to first descend

Into the lower parts of the earth,

Hence his coming that first Christmas

When heaven celebrated his birth.

A Triune implementation

And the Scriptures clearly teach it,

It was from the Father via the Son

And through the Holy Spirit.

That seed in the woman

Was of the Holy Spirit,

Not the son of Joseph

He had nothing to do with it.

The seed of woman

The seed of the woman,

The Bible said,

Shall crush the serpent’s head

And indeed, he did!

The identity of captivity

And no doubt death and the grave

And through this imperial victory

You and I can be saved.

A show of unquestionable supremacy

And unfathomable authority

Displayed in this triumph over Satan

For you and for me.

He led captivity captive

But it is more than this,

In the establishing of his Church

To men he gave gifts.

From his incarnation

Via his crucifixion and resurrection

To his glorious ascension

And his heavenly coronation!

For he that descended is the same also

That ascended high above all heavens

And this same Jesus is our Lord

Hence, we need not feel threatened.

Psalm 68:18

Thou hast ascended on high, said the Psalmist David,

Thou hast led captivity captive:

Thou hast received gifts for men;

Yea, for the rebellious also that the Lord might dwell among them.

“What is it?” The Apostle Paul asks,

What really is the purpose?

This vanquishing of our archenemy

So regally achieved by God’s Son, Jesus?

The answer is given

And it is so crystal clear,

It was there all the time

It did not suddenly appear.

“That he might fill all things”

He who? Just in case you still do not know,

Turn to Colossians 1:15-17

Where the answer clearly shows.

First Place in Everything! Colossians 1: Colossians 1:15-17 (NRSV) He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; for in him. - ppt download

Who is the image of the invisible God,

the firstborn of every creature:

16. For by him were all things created,

that are in heaven,

and that are in earth,

visible and invisible,

whether they be thrones,

or dominions,

or principalities,

or powers:

all things were created by him,

and for him:

17. And he is before all things,

and by him all things consist.

That he might fill all things

Being the Creator of all:

Jesus Christ our kinsman Redeemer

And the very Son of God!

All things were created by him

And for him:

And he is before all things,

And by him all things consist.

The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof,

The whole earth is full of his glory,

Not only the mountains and the oceans

But every pebble, every rock, every tree.

Jesus has overcome the world

And this is not in the future tense

But this is a done accomplishment

And that in every sense.

Nothing is left to be accomplished

Nothing was left to chance,

The unfolding of history will attest to this

As the Church advance.

What Does Colossians 1:15 Mean?

Yes! He fills all things!

By him all things are maintained,

The sun on high cannot light up a day

Unless Jesus allows the flame.

Yes! He fills all things!

And he resides in you and me!

That’s why in the midst of the greatest storm

We can still be happy.

By whom…

Through whom…

For whom…

All things were made?

Jesus
