Can’t you see God?
Are you blind?
Can’t you see His signature?
Are you out of your mind?
Are you for real?
You can’t really be serious,
To say there’s no proof
Is more than contemptuous.
Let’s take a look at design
It is all around,
Throughout the universe
Design just abounds.
There’s design in the plants
Design in the animals
Design in the skies
And design in people
Design in appearances
Design in behaviour
Design in diversities
Design is God’s favour
There are no two alike
Yet there are common threads,
All point to the Creator
Much more can be said.
Something stops the sea
As it charges to the shore,
Design brings it in
And sends it out once more.
It’s designed for that action
Like the customs of man,
To get the best of life
We design specific plans.
We copied this from God
Though we don’t admit it,
Having been made in His image
Design is our habit.
With the animals it’s consistent
With humans it varies,
The sparrow’s nest is fixed
But in humans there’s variety.
It all points to a designer
It is God who first designed
And anyone who can’t see it
Must be out of his mind.
Any explosion will disrupt
That’s Big Bang simply put
But a designer will construct
So open your eyes and look.
Yes look all around you
There is design everywhere,
Check out the next sunset
Go ahead and stare!
Look down at the mountains
And view the valleys below,
An elevated position
Will put design on show.
The plant kingdom in its diversity
The animal kingdom too
The ethnic groups of human kind
God’s design comes into view.
Unless of course you cannot see
That which is in plain sight,
If this is your case my friend
Then that is an awful plight.
It takes more to see
Things that are not really there,
Faith is one of the words we use
But the other word is what I fear.
Insanity is the word I mean
I use it for the spiritually insane,
It speaks of one who is super bright
But folly is his name.
All that man has innovated
Man has also designed
Yet all that he came and found
Came out of an exploding mine.
Even for starters
That does not make sense
And besides that we know
For insanity there is no defense.
Help is required for such a one
There is a need to fix the mind,
That’s where the fault has begun
There’s nothing wrong with the design.
God is responsible for the design
The fault is how we think,
There’s still a chance if we turn to him
We won’t go over the brink.
