Nothing Exploded

Quote : In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Can this be true and false

At one and the same time?

Please don’t rush to an opinion…

Mull over it in your mind.

Nothing exploded!

What truly are you hearing?

What came into your mind

After your first reading?

Was it the same meaning

When read the second time

Or did something somewhat different

Come into your mind?

I wish you could tell me now

Your first response

When you first read the question

Posed at verse number 1.

No doubt it was the negative

That you saw at the first

But then the positive emerged

When next you rehearsed.

In the beginning... 'first there was nothing, which exploded' - Skywatching - Castanet.net

Like a lesson in the lab

When a loud explosion is heard

But that nothing exploded

Need not be absurd.

Nothing exploded meaning

It came out of nowhere,

Doesn’t this sound familiar to you

Since we are now here?

You see, nothing can explode

Once there is a lot of it,

And it can happen at least once

But not as a habit.

Spacey Jane - Lots of Nothing (Lyrics) - YouTube

Here, nothing is something

In massive amounts

And this would surely vindicate

The evolutionist’s account.

Nothing exploded

Could also mean…

There was no such explosion-

No such scene.

In other words, it’s ludicrous

To even presuppose

That nothing exploded

Is worthy to oppose.

It was nothing that exploded!

Do you hear it again?

Even to imagine this

Is a no brain.

Terry Pratchett Quote: “In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.”

Nothing exploded:

Meaning no such event in time-

Nothing exploded:

Meaning what atheists opine.

Same statement

Appearing both false and true…

Both an impossibility but a reality

Never, yet now not new!

If I appear to be rambling,

It simply means you are not,

If nothing exploded

You’re on the same spot.

Something to Think About

Einstein quote "The point is to understand" | Einstein quotes, Fool quotes, Einstein

I have often heard it said

Every fool has his own sense

But no one chooses a fool

To argue one’s defense.

Someone makes a statement

That many take for granted

And if that someone is “someone”

That statement is oft repeated.

Per chance if there is a query

We may begin to re-think

But the rule of thumb usually is

We mostly with it sync.

The greatest lesson in life is to know that even fools are right sometimes | Popular inspirational quotes at EmilysQuotes | Life lessons, Inspirational words, Inspirational quotes

Same thing but only different

Could there be some proof

That renders to the apparent idiocy

Some validity with truth?

If it is something tangible

There is likely to be difficulty there,

However, if it is language related

We may have something going here.

There are many statements

That can be said in different ways,

Same thing only different

Could certainly apply here.

Same meaning different words

I am so happy for synonyms,

I can mean the exact same thing

Though I say it differently from him.

It’s a true fact

Tell me is there another kind?

Yet this statement is oft repeated

By persons all the time.

Perhaps it’s to prove a point

That lacks credible support,

To send the sincerest of signals

The speaker is not making sport.

The left foot right shoe thing

Where the left shoe is the right,

Well if your custom is wearing shoes

I am sure you’ll get this insight.

57 Bible verses about Fools

There is no absolute truth

The brilliant ones will tell you that

And before you think it through

You would accept it as a fact.

If you would only stop to examine

The lunacy of this statement,

You would discover just as I did

Something is underlying its intent.

If there is no absolute truth

Then this statement cannot be true,

It is a contradiction of itself

I can see that.  Can’t you?

I always tell lies

That my friend is impossible,

For if that statement could be true

Always” would be a deductible.

Now if that statement is a lie

As I truly believe it to be,

In that person is a redeeming feature

I trust we all can see.

Two Sides to every Story auf Twitter: "https://t.co/WrVxEmSp6z"

There are two sides to a story

I am sure you’ve heard this before

But you and I both I know

There are sometimes more.

And sometimes I might add

None of them is true

Since the sources might be speaking

From a self-opinionated view

It is true that it is wrong

We can definitely take that,

When truth points out the wrong

That’s an unmistakable fact.

Truth must be the benchmark

For me and for you,

It does not depend on opinion

Like you and I do.

We must pay for everything

Meaning that nothing in life is free,

I now invite you to Jesus

Come to him now and see.

Jesus paid a debt he did not owe, because we owed a debt we could not pay. | Jesus paid it all, Bible teachings, Jesus

For us he paid the ultimate price,

On Calvary’s cross he gave his life,

Nothing else could ever suffice,

Do not by this statement be enticed.

Salvation is free, is free indeed,

Jesus paid it all to meet our need,

If anyone demands a payment as seed

That is to satisfy his insatiable greed.

Logical contradictions

To this I have given some thought,

Perhaps it might be, I suggest,

Logic with contradictions fraught.

If logic can be a contradiction

How then can it be logic?

Now I am getting in over my head

Here is where I exit.

Pick Sense Out Of Nonsense – Becoming the Oil and the Wine

It is not that I’m running away

I’m just fostering a little thought

Regarding what we’ve long accepted

And into what we have bought.

Legalizing Madness

Image result for images for genders

Why do we legalize madness?
Why do we refuse to treat it?
Why do we make the abnormal, normal
Just to support a habit?

Why do we take our standard
From what the animals do
And argue if it’s normal for the animals
It must be normal for us too?

After all, we are higher animals
And should do as they do,
All are entitled to the basest things
Yes, even if it’s a depraved view.

Take for example the argument:
What animals do is natural
And what is natural is normal
It logically follows, therefore, normal must be moral.

So that since this is a truism
Why then should it not be legal?
If it is natural for the animals
Then it should be moral for all people.

Talking about a quantum leap
Like as in mechanics and physics!
If that is not a leap into space
Then tell me, “What is it?”

So now you see just where we are
Why madness must be legalized!
If this is intellectual thinking
Why should you or I be surprised?

Image result for images for a fool's logic

There is a special logic for fools
And there is one for mad people too,
So that sooner or later and perhaps sooner,
There will be one for any view.

The good Lord created two genders
It was a fairly uncomplicated world,
Now there are over one hundred
Doesn’t anyone think that is absurd?

Following is a test I am giving you
You can do it with your iPhone,
Ask “Siri” how many genders there are
And you’ll see that this madness is full-blown.

Image result for images for ask Siri

Gender is different from when I was young
At present, I am sixty-six years old,
It is now defined as how you feel inside
At least, that is what I’ve been recently told.

So straight up you see the dissonance
I can feel different from what I am,
And if I cannot be entitled to what I feel
Well, I would be better off damned.

There is even a gender for the genderless
Like the “I don’t want to be any gender",
Then there is one for let me change when I please
That one we will call transgender.

The stable door has been opened
And the horse has unapologetically bolted,
The floodgates have released their eager waters
And only a relative few have noted.

Image result for images for a Barbados polling station

If a poll were to be taken tomorrow
I wonder what the outcome would be,
Somehow I feel we would legalize the madness
Because most of us are too blind to see.

There is a group I especially fear
It is those of the apathetic persuasion,
They could not care one way or another
It is no obstacle to their aspirations.

But then there are those that sympathize
Why can’t a person become what he feels?
Happiness is, after all, life’s objective
That’s one thing we won’t let someone steal.

So the verdict goes to the abnormal
Call it the new normal if you please,
I like to be cheeky and I tease a lot
But please be advised, this poem is not a tease.

Legalizing this madness is where we are headed
Open your eyes and see,
Or else you’ll regret the day you were born
And the two genders that caused you to be.

Image result for images for the list of abnormal genders

A person’s orientation can be anything
For we all live in a fallen world,
In heaven, Lucifer attempted to overthrow God
And at the time, he didn’t think that was absurd.

To Whom the Spoils?

Image result for images for an argument

When you argue with a woman
You lose it from the start,
For you argue with your head
She argues from the heart.

From the very start
She uses her woman’s intuition,
You will bring fact after fact
But she doesn’t even have to listen.

You will raise your voice
As she frustrates you with her line
And as you wonder how she got there
You’d be running out of time.

For time is on her side
The longer the argument goes on,
She has much staying power
She can argue way past dawn.

While you are longing for some sleep
She is warming to the task
And she doesn’t answer your questions
Don’t even bother to ask.

You cannot derail a woman
When she switches on tunnel vision,
You are fighting a losing battle
Even after the argument is done.

Fact after fact you’d bring
Laid out in an organized fashion
And fact after fact will fall to the ground
As she persists with relentless passion.

Image result for images for Adam and Eve

I wonder how long it took
For Adam to give into Eve,
It wasn’t the apple, by now you know
It was what her eyes revealed.

For a woman argues with her eyes
And through them shines her heart,
Therein is a basic position
From which she will never depart.

The man, he will see the logic
The woman zeros in on the need,
“There is not sufficient funds,” he says,
“I have some stashed,” she pleads.

She is often miles ahead,
She was planning while he slept
And though he presents ten reasons
Each one becomes inept.

O yes, he presents the facts
And each one appeals to commonsense
But she counters stronger every time
From her wealth of experience.

When arguing with a woman
There is little chance of winning,
That’s why they make better lawyers
It’s been so from the beginning.

No doubt when Eve went to Adam
With the lovely looking fruit
He reminded her what God had said
But that went down the shoot.

“O honey, I know what God said
But that’s not really what He meant,
I actually touched the fruit today
So that clearly was not his intent.”

She took a bite and he did too
And apparently they did not die
So the woman’s argument held water,
What God had said was a lie.

Now I know this started out as a poem
Comparing a woman and a man
And how they approach an argument
And the kind of line they plan.

But suddenly in the midst of it
Something different occurred to me,
It’s no use continuing on this line
When there is something more to see.

Image result for images for an argument

In our arguments it’s about winning
And to that end we blindly proceed
And soon we lose sight of what’s important
As those things of importance recede.

The past becomes the present
As the historic record is brought to bear
Evidence regarding who is better or worse
And respect for one another disappears.

Apparent forgiveness turns inside out
Regarding the wrongs of the past
And soon the argument becomes a quarrel
And an impasse looms at last.

The woman’s heart is ripped out
And the man’s logic goes through the door
And Satan’s strategy for dividing them
Now comes through to the fore.

There’s no winner in the argument,
Only losers battle scarred and undone,
Nothing gained but a lot eroded
Is the stark evidence that neither has won.

Relationship takes a hard knock
And what was built up is now broken down
As the years of solid relationship
In a moment becomes unsound.

Cracks appear in the veneer
And the foundation becomes suspect
And what was mutual acceptance
They now both totally reject.

No spoils are there for the taking
Since everything has been spoiled,
Both agitators have built up sanctuaries
Into which they now have recoiled.

The argument is never ended
It plays out in their minds
With each apportioning the other blame
A Winner we will never find.

I am not saying do not argue
I’m just saying be careful when you do,
Invariably there is no winner
And this is my recent view.
