For Me

Psalm 14:1-3 – The Fool's Decree, Depravity, and Dilemma - "From The Heart of A Shepherd" by Pastor Travis D. Smith

The fool has said in his heart

There is no God… “For me!”

“For me” becomes the operative term

I trust you will agree.

Whether or not there is a God

Really does not matter,

To the fool this is his personal view

Hence, do not blame any other.

“For me” nails it right to the floor

No buts, no ifs, no anything,

“For me” identifies who is the fool

Whatever argument one brings.

“For me” says this is my quest

For me says I’m a fool like no other,

For while most fools are ignorant

Folly is my endeavor.

Folly enters via the mind

But its destination is the heart

And then it becomes nigh impossible

To tear the two apart.

Folly is like a cancer

That grows and grows and grows

And the mind that used to think

Now slows and slows and slows.

The fool soon begins to believe

What is naturally unreal,

Everyone, but he, becomes the fool

And he grades all with a ‘fail’.

Albert Einstein quote: There are yet people who say there is no God...

There is no God “for me”

Becomes more and more acute

And his heart is heard above all else

As the mind increasingly mutes.

“In his heart”, the Bible says,

Hence, the mind has gone to sleep,

The two were designed to work together

Now it’s only the heart that speaks.

“For me” the unspoken expression

Louder than the spoken words,

Expressed from a heart of derision

Makes the speaker more absurd.

“For me” holds him accountable

The ‘him’ here being the fool

And not any learning institution,

Be it a church or a school.

Psalm 14:1-3 – The Fool's Decree, Depravity, and Dilemma - "From The Heart of A Shepherd" by Pastor Travis D. Smith

“For me” is not in the original quote

So, it was obviously an add on,

No doubt by the fool it referred to

Have a good day, my friends,

I am gone!

Today in Prehistory

Terry Pratchett quote: In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Today is Atheists’ Day

Also known as All Fool’s Day

It’s when everything began

So atheists say.

Billions of years ago

On this day in prehistory

There was absolutely nothing

Then something happened suddenly.

It was when time began

And must be called Day #1,

Later known as All Fools’ Day:

The day of the first dawn.

The fact it was prehistoric,

It cannot be validated

But as atheists vehemently contend

A Big Bang was recorded.

Terry Pratchett Quote: “In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.”

Out of nothing came something

And this suddenly occurred,

The only time it ever happened:

The claim of the absurd.

Just like Christianity

Atheism has its day,

That day on the calendar

Must be All Fools’ Day.

No God, says the fool

And he says it from the heart,

April 1st, the beginning of time

Is where it had to start.

So, the fool goes back,

It appears to me,

When something came out of nothing

And this happened suddenly.

What is the Big Bang Theory? | Space

A Big Bang on April 1st

When everything began,

The most important day of the year

If you are an evolution fan.

April starts tomorrow,

For the wise it can’t be today,

If the fool must have this day

April must be delayed.

Way back even before time

All Fools’ Day began,

It was the first ever April 1st

And it was something grand.

For every atheist, I believe,

The year begins today,

A no-God celebration festival

Must be on its way.

How to think about… The big bang | New Scientist

Did you hear that noise?

In the fool’s ear it rang,

All Fools’ Day is April 1st

And thus, that Big Bang!

Send the fool further and further

Back a billion years

When suddenly out of nothing

Everything appeared.

Today is All Fools’ Day

For you, not for me,

I can say this categorically

If you take me seriously.

A Play on May

Uncertainty isn't cause for climate complacency – quite the opposite

You may feel you are a genius

Or you may think you are slow,

You may feel you are ten feet tall

Or as short as my big toe.

You may feel you have a right

To everything that is insight

Or you may even begin to believe

Your life is a colossal blight.

You may feel that you are hopeless

Or have the brightest hope,

You may even think you are suicidal

And that you cannot cope.

You may feel you have longevity

Or just a short time here,

Or you may even feel it doesn’t matter

And have nothing here to fear.

You may feel there is no God

And hence, no heaven and no hell

But what you may be feeling now

May not be very well.

You see, May is no guarantee

That you have a June put down

So, whatever may or may not be

You may not be around.

May is never a certainty

You can hang your hopes upon

And before this day is complete

They may come crashing down.

If you are reading this

You are into the month of May,

Grace and peace to you, my friend,

Today is May's first day.

WELCOME TO THE MONTH OF MAY! – MEMOIRS BY MIDE

Welcome to the month of May

With its “may or may not be”!

You may plan and you may hope

But in the present, act soberly!

All Lies

Rice Krispies Squares 'it's all lies, they're not even square' by Leo Burnett

If there is no truth

Then it is all lies,

Absolutely no distinction

Between spider and flies.

If there is no truth

Then no Jesus Christ,

No one lives

And no one dies.

If there is no truth

Then you are not here,

I don’t know where you are

And I don’t care.

Rice Krispies Squares 'it's all lies, they're not even square' by Leo Burnett

If there is no truth

Then nothing exists,

No law, no rights

No threats, no risks.

If there is no truth

Then there is no sky,

And no birds or planes

That therein fly.

If there is no truth

Then there is no justice,

No backlog of cases

No such list.

If there is no truth

Then there is no judge,

No legal system

No grouse no grudge.

If there is no truth

Then there is no measure,

Nothing to determine

Work or leisure.

Rice Krispies Squares 'it's all lies, they're not even square' by Leo Burnett

If there is no truth

Then no recompense,

No rewarding of labour

Not a single cent.

If there is no truth

Then there is no family

No purpose, no plan,

And no destiny.

If there is no truth

Then there is no God,

No angels, no demons

No devil, no fraud.

Rice Krispies Squares 'it's all lies, they're not even square' by Leo Burnett

If there is no truth

Then no woman, no man,

No binary gender

No Divine plan.

If there is no truth

Then no coming judgment:

A current truth

Which most resent.

If there is no truth

Then there is no space,

Cyber or otherwise

No such place.

If there is no truth

Then there is no time,

 No beginning, no ending

No clock, no chime.

If there is no truth

Then there is nothing,

No such words

Like these I am typing.

If there is no truth

Then there is no eternity,

All lies!

No reality!

Rice Krispies Squares 'it's all lies, they're not even square' by Leo Burnett

If there is no truth

Then there are no lies,

One defines the other,

I hope you realize.
