The Matter vs Matter

Matter of Fact vs. Fact of the Matter

The heart of the matter

Is who created matter

Since matter creating matter

Is monkey chatter.

It does not make sense

Like monkey chatter,

To a monkey, chatter might

But not to another.

Matter versus matter

See want I mean?

One of them must be material

Thus, physically seen.

The other is intangible

And only perceived;

It is the matter about matter

And what is believed.

Two sides to the matter

And here is one side:

It is that matter created matter

Or strongly implied.

As a matter of fact,

Many will argue that

And will contend vehemently

It is a proven fact.

Bring the proof, I say,

Yes, please bring it on

For in such you will only prove

Brain matter is gone.

Why, that is matter too:

A collection of cells

Which in the case of some people

Are not doing well.

Calming Those "Chattering Monkeys" In Our Head - TBI Survivor

I refer to those people

Whose god is matter,

Scattered brains, I’d call them

Or monkey chatter.

Does it matter to you

Concerning the matter

That matter could create matter,

Or no matter?

Well, it matters to me

And I will tell you why,

Some would believe utter nonsense

Yet God they’d deny.

If matter made matter

It should still be going on

But I guess the time for such to happen

Are billions of years gone.

If you want to see it again

Be around a billion years

And matter creating more matter

Must surely reappear.

For after all, I am told,

It’s only a matter of time

Just hang in there and hunker down;

It will take some grind.

Matter of Fact vs. Fact of the Matter

The matter versus matter

Matters least to me

For surely matter creating matter

Is an impossibility.

When Tomorrow Comes Today

Image result for Matthew 6:34

I know this sounds like nonsense

But we do it everyday

Whenever we worry about tomorrow

And live it out today.

This practice is a classical case

Of tomorrow coming today,

It’s when we attempt the impossible

And for most it is the normal way.

In Matthew 6 and verse 34

We must take no thought of tomorrow,

We certainly cannot live it today

Neither from it can we borrow.

But in spite of this impossibility,

We still worry about tomorrow a lot

Figuring we can live out tomorrow

In the present time we’ve got.

Understand that the title of this poem

Cannot be not a physical reality

Albeit, even while you are reading now

You are trying unsuccessfully.

There are enough problems today

That we have to grapple with,

Sufficient is the evil of this day

If you are understanding my drift.

When tomorrow comes today

That will be the end of all time,

This is the consummation of all things

And it should occupy our minds.

There are no days in eternity

Eternity is different from time,

Days and years only came into being

When God created the timeline.

Image result for seven days in a week

There are seven days in every week

Each one with its specific name,

They always come in their set order

And that we can never change.

Thus, it is only in one’s mind

When tomorrow comes today,

And, in our minds we regularly do it

Even though you say, “No way.”

We all worry about tomorrow

Far more than we do today,

We do the same for next week and next month

And for some, that may go to next year.

Yes, we keep on drawing up tomorrow

And making it today’s issue

And the funny thing about all of this is,

Tomorrow never comes for true.
