Not Even Me

Romans 8:38-39 - Bible verse (KJV) - DailyVerses.net

Having said yes to God

He will in no way accept no,

I am dogmatic about this

Because the Bible says so.

Born into God’s kingdom

Speaks to permanence,

I became His precious child

Via genuine repentance.

According to Romans 8

Verses 35 to 39 to be exact,

I have that assurance

And God’s truth is fact.

Being born again

Is the premise I choose,

My "child-of-the-Father" status

I can never lose.

Being a Child of God: Remember Who You Are - Articles ‹ West Mason Church of Christ

Once a child of God

I am always a child of God

Hence, I will not be deceived

Or let Satan defraud.

From my natural birth

I was my father’s son

But now I am born again

New life has come.

To all that believe

God grants us the power

To be His sons and daughters

From that very hour.

Since I cannot not change

My earthly circumstance

Neither do I have the power

To alter what God has advanced.

What he has put in place

Is His sovereign will

And I know like you do

What he promises he fulfils.

I’ve heard the argument

That I can separate me,

Read Romans chapter 8

And that you won’t see.

It explicitly says nothing

And later implies no one,

Please read from verse 38

And please read on.

This is the word of God

I am sure you agree

So read verse 39

And tell me what you see.

“Nor any other creature”

Can separate us

From the Love of God

Which is in Christ Jesus.

Being a Child of God: Remember Who You Are - Articles ‹ West Mason Church of Christ

Put my name right there

I hope you can see,

“Nor any other creature”

Can separate me.

From the love of God

Nothing or no one

Can separate me from God

Ever since I was reborn.

For having said yes to God

I was born again

Hence being a cast off

Will never be my pain.

Don’t Ask God

THE PROMISES OF GOD Psa 138:2 I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified. - ppt download

With God all things are possible

Why, that’s in His Holy Word

But does that also mean

That God revels in the absurd?

Of course, it surely does not

For God is a God of purpose

And the entirety of His sovereign will

Is focused on His Son, Jesus.

Don’t ask God

To do the impossible

For God does not do the absurd

Or the unthinkable.

Don’t ask God

To reverse a process

For God is not subject to any creature

That puts Him to the test.

Don’t ask God

To turn back the time

For time that is passed is passed

And God is not so inclined.

No Man's Debtor (Romans 11:33-36) / Timothy Brubaker - YouTube

Don’t ask God

To pander to your wishes

As though He can be indebted to anyone

And returns favours by kisses.

Don’t ask God

To grant to you a special favour

Citing, like some are wont to do,

Their faithfulness and labour.

Don’t ask God

To repair a perceived flaw

For God is not in the fixing business-

After all, He is God.

Don’t ask God

To undo a committed act

Because even the omnipotent God

Cannot do that.

Don’t Ask God

To alter a known or unknown fact

As though it is so disconcerting

That He has to take it back.

Don’t ask God

To effectively change His mind

Concerning some established truth

Because it has you in a bind.

Psalm 100:3 Know that the Lord Himself is God;It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

Don’t ask God

To go against His nature

For then He would not be the Creator

But just another creature.

Don’t ask God

To violate His own word

For that is the greatest impossibility…

This goes beyond the absurd!

Don’t ask God

To change what He has set before time

Hoping to prove the point

That God can change His mind.

God’s purpose is set in train

His will can in no way be thwarted,

He has done whatever pleases Him

And He cannot be converted.

Fear Him and walk in wisdom

His word alone is truth,

Trust Him, praise Him and thank Him,

And as His living epistle, be proof.
