The Rainbow

I am so amazed
And in much of a daze,
As I observe the LGBT craze
I wish it were a phase.

Undoubtedly so though
As you and I know
Their militancy demonstrates
This is not so.

Meanwhile we are prepared
To move out of the way
And let them roam free
As if they are okay.

I know that you know
Of the various kinds of thefts
I have found them guilty
The LGBT I mean
And I can’t let it rest.

Let me highlight a few
Whether or not you knew
So that by the time I am through
You would see this is true.

Guilty as charged
For stealing our words
And in the case of “gay”
That is absurd.

Once a lighthearted word
Defining merriment
Now being used by the LGBT
For their deviant intent.

I used the word deviant
And I do so intentionally
To show their intent
At redefining the family.

“Family” they have stolen
In their attempt to redirect
The thinking of our people
And cause familial wrecks.

The Bible shows in Genesis
Family is God’s design
It’s between a man and woman
And not as the LGBT opine.

Outside of this it’s sin
And I dare say criminal too
For it robs our children
Of their biblical family view.

Family is traditional
And rightly so
And the biblical family
Is what our children should know.

They have stolen “marriage”
Its design and concept
Its biblical admonition
They continually reject.

And since two of the same
Cannot produce a child
They must also steal “children”
That cannot be denied.

What a tangle web they weave!
With many a word
To the extent that
The meanings are now obscured.

They are naked
But their nakedness is denied
And to show them up
Will probably require a child.

The Emperor was naked
But the adults played blind
It took a little child
To expose his naked behind.

They stole the “law”
And some legal luminaries
And that was redefined too
To meet their gay fancy.

“Homo” was all right
Until sexual they add
Now gay means homosexual
And in gay clothing is clad.

Then there is homophobic
And there is bigoted
Discriminatory and prejudiced
Words for the normal
Who are now maladjusted.

By now you must be asking
“But what about the title!
You have prattled on and on
But with it have not grappled.”

I have saved it for the last
In my effort to show
The extent to which
The LGBT is willing to go.

Let me take you my friend
To the post flood scene
I want you to take focus
On Genesis 9 and verse 13.

“I do set my bow,” God is speaking
“And it shall be for a token.”
A covenant God made with man
That has never been broken.

When the "rainbow" appears
In the backdrop of the clouds
One remembers God’s promise
The promise He vowed.

It is a little bit confusing
That this sign is now mixed
As the LGBT to its movement
Has the rainbow affixed.

Picture if you will
The following scenario:
“A teacher and her children
Are watching a video show”.

She pauses at a frame
That shows the rainbow
And then asks a question
Any of them should know.

Two answers she receives
Which of them is correct?
Should she accept both of them
Or one of them reject?

I know how I would answer
Regardless of the show
But in few years from now
Would your child know?

I hope everyone sees
The challenge on our hands
As the LGBT progresses
With their world changing plan.

Google the LGBT Bible
And view the Queen James cross
In the colours of the rainbow
Embolden and glossed.

They’ve stolen the “Bible”
As well as the “cross”
These are now LGBT instruments
What a terrible loss!

For those whose time is tight
I have inserted the link
I have gone to all this trouble
Because I want you to think.

Please do not buy this book
But instead you can buy
The Gay Gospel by Joe Dallas
And you will see why.

Free Fall

Down I plunged almost in free fall
There was nothing to stop me, nothing at all,
There was no cushion except for the air,
No rescue net to suddenly appear.

I had climbed quite high and dared to jump
Hoping for nothing more than a little bump
But as I fell through the air I wasn’t sure,
If I was lucky I’d be just a little sore.

It had all gone wrong, not as I’d planned
Up until that moment I was a successful man,
I had taken risks before and came out on top
What was it I had done then that now I had not?

It was not important to answer that question,
In my current trend there was one destination,
I was on course for a collision with the earth,
I suddenly regretted the occasion of my birth.

My life flashed before me; things I had done,
At the expense of people I had had loads of fun,
I was high up in life and important too
I had all things that matter to me and to you.

Falling through the air nothing mattered to me,
My yacht, my car, not even my property,
My bank account nor insurance, neither could help,
As the wind filled my lungs I couldn’t even yelp.

I thought of my wife; I wonder where she was,
I wouldn’t have time to even give her a buzz,
My son and my daughter, I was glad they couldn’t see
What was about to happen their own way daddy.

Like I said, I had climbed to quite a great height
I wanted to experience the same as a bird in flight,
I had no wings but it didn’t matter then
I did whatever I wanted and I decided when.

I always called the shots; it was left up to me,
I thought this free fall would be a delightful spree,
I don’t know what I was thinking; but I never did,
I was just impulsive and enjoyed any new gig.

Life had been good to me I couldn’t complain
But yet I was always doing something insane,
It was as though nothing that I had could satisfy
And consequently I searched for new things to try.

Plummeting through the air was one such thing
Without even thinking I thought I’d have a fling,
Many of my friends had done it without a snag
I could hear them now as in my face they bragged.

Whatever they did I had always done better,
That was my method to put an end to their chatter,
Even as I fell I wondered what they would say
When they finally discover this didn’t go my way.

But how was I to know that parachute was faulty?
Perhaps one of my friends was just being naughty,
The answers to such are not important now
But if I live I’ll get some answers; that’s my vow.

Live? What was I thinking? Live through this?
No doubt on the grim reaper’s page I was top of the list,
I would be next; suddenly I had no doubt
This was the precise time and moment I would fall out.

And fall out I did with a tremendous thud
But nowhere around me was there any blood,
Incredibly I recognised that I was alive
That was quite a fall but I had survived.

What I thought was the day was really the night
Don’t marvel at this; you heard me right,
The plane was my bed and the earth was the floor
I was too near the end; need I say more?

It took this dream though to help me realise
That life was far more than what I had surmised,
I recognized after coming face to face with my demise
That life without Christ is free fall in disguise.

You see my parachutes were all faulty, every one,
None of them could save me; on me that had dawned
So having struck the ground I woke from my sleep
‘Tis then I heard the words, "Come home my sheep."

My brother, my sister, though a dream is not real
I needed to relate to you that one in detail,
For had that event been real I would have been dead
And perhaps on my way to an eternal hell instead.

Without Christ in your life you are in free fall,
There’s nothing to help you, nothing at all,
While God still persists do respond to His call
"Come home my child; no longer delay; no longer stall."

When God Doesn’t Understand

I am sure you have been here
“Where?” You ask.
Right where you are now
Facing a real up hill task.

And they say God is around
“Where?” you ask once more.
Right where you are now
Just like He always was before.

“Don’t kid me,” you say.
“I’m not in the mood for joking,
‘Cause if He is
He lacks genuine understanding.

He sure doesn’t understand
If indeed He has a plan
And it can’t be anything grand
If it can’t relieve this man.

What good is God to me
If He cannot understand
Or even show that he does?
Why, He is no more than a man.

For right now the way I feel
Is that God lacks understanding
And certainly can’t grant to me
What my situation is demanding.”

Cool your heals my brother,
The mere fact you’re still here
Shows that God understands
Or you would long have disappeared.

See that talk you just put down
And the fact that you’re still around!
It is enough to make God frown!
You would have to be a clown…

To have said all you just said
And still here ‘cause you’re not dead;
This says God understands
And that His heart is not made of lead.

If anyone had a reason
To believe God didn’t understand
Surely it must be Jesus, His Son
When He came to earth as a man.

As a matter of fact you’d recall
He even cried to let the cup pass
But resigned to Father’s will
And to a cross was nailed at last.

Like you he could have said
God doesn’t understand
But he knew only too well
That this was God’s divine plan.

Man’s wisdom is folly to God
Who sees all and knows all,
The whole picture lies bare before Him
And he never makes a wrong call.

While it seems He doesn’t understand
That is only in the mind of man
Whose shortsightedness regarding life
Is a defect common to the human clan.

If we understood all that God does
We would be just like Him
But alas this could never be
Because of the awful state of sin.

Sin is exacerbated by selfishness
Which blinds us to the need of others,
Putting ourselves first in everything
And nothing else becomes a bother.

Such that we don’t understand
But eventually blame God
And such an accusation
Is spurted on by Satan, the Fraud.

The truth be told God understands
He must; after all He is not a man,
Back in eternity He devised a plan
And implemented it on a set time span.

Creation was at the beginning
God’s judgment comes at the end
So if you feel God doesn’t understand
You are sadly mistaken my friend.

One last thing I should tell you
Something I am sure you know,
There is no better friend than God is,
My Bible tells me so.

While I may not understand
He has worked it all out for me,
All I need do is trust Him
And on Him depend totally.

My misunderstanding will pass away
With the coming of the end
There and then I will understand
Why He chose to call me His friend.

In the meantime I’ll ride it out with Him
For there is no better choice
And as I face the storms ahead
I’ll listen calmly to His voice.

That voice that soothes me in my anger
That cools me during the heat
And tells me all I need do with my problems
Is to place them at His feet.

He doesn’t understand I hear you say
In Him you need to trust,
In trusting the way becomes quite clear
When God takes away our fuss.

You’ll understand it better by and by
God understands it all today,
From the beginning He saw to the end
He is qualified to lead the way.
