Scared Half to Death

 

 

Is it feasibly possible

To be fatally scared?

Better believe it can happen

Anywhere.

 

It takes two times,

Never just one

But for sure, on the second,

You will be gone.

 

What morbid fright

Can take a person’s life?

No, you mischievous miscreant,

It’s not your wife.

 

Death and life

Are in what we say,

Some people interpret the Bible

In this way.

 

 

Pretext before context

Is misinterpretation

And is not worth one’s breath

In argumentation.

 

Be this as it may

Let us proceed anyway

And see if this will lead us

Along the way.

 

I knew a man

Who was scared half to death twice,

Do note I said I knew

And this should suffice.

 

Half scared to death

When multiplied by two

Is equal to full blown expiration,

How about you?

 

 

Such a scare is fatal

The second time around

Or else, that one must be speaking

With a forked tongue.

To see if it has occurred before

For if it has happened,

Next time you’ll be no more.
