Could Never Happen to Me

 

 

Sounds familiar?

Oh yes, very familiar

And for each such scenario

I can paint a picture.

 

What happen to her

Could never happen to me,

I would have fixed him ever since;

Seriously!

 

You see that accident?

I tell you he can’t drive!

That would never happen to me;

I’d steer into the slide.

 

And you took his backchat?

Not from a child of mine!

Could never happen to me then

Or at any other time.

 

 

Things happen to people

That couldn’t happen to me,

I keep on my guard at all times;

Vigilantly!

 

See how she got rip off?

She begged for that!

That could never happen to me

And that is a fact.

 

People get into trouble

A lot more these days

And they don’t ever seem to learn

Crime never pays.

 

 

Could never happen to me,

I have far more sense

And if you feel that you have to,

You could take offense.

 

But I know myself well,

For sure, better than you,

And your experience doesn’t mean

It will happen to me too.

 

Therefore, I must reiterate

To help you comprehend,

That could never happen to me
