What we see and what we feel
Is similar to news and
views,
It is what we make of what
we see:
In other words, our
reviews.
We live in a postmodern
time
In which we dare not trust
our senses
And when we see what we
actually see
That could create some
offenses.
Several people looking at
the same thing
Will see something
different
And depending on their
orientation
Different things will be
apparent.
What is it we are seeing?
Is it President Trump or
his policies?
Is it his tweets or is it
his sweets?
What is it we really see?
What you see is what you
get
Once used to be the
refrain,
Now believe it and you
have it,
This sounds kind of
insane.
Feelings have climbed the
charts
What we feel has outpaced
what we see,
This is even so in the
church
Which adds to the mystery.
Televangelists and others
Are appealing to what
people feel,
It’s like, don’t you worry
about what you see
Just listen to our appeal.
They are part of the
mystery
Why seeing is not always
believing,
Hence, it’s better to
trust in feelings
And let that be the key to
receiving.
It is like walking into
your miracle
Like we heard some time
ago,
Do not go by what you see
Step out and let your
feelings show.
It is all over the world
World leaders are leading
by appeal,
Trust not your senses,
particularly seeing,
And begin to learn how to
feel.
It’s really about feeling,
yes it is,
It is time that you jump
on board,
You would feel so much
better if you try
And get a little more than
seeing affords.
If you see what I am doing
And you are satisfied with
that,
You might be misled by
what you see
Feelings might be your real
fact.
