Why Is There God?

 

 

Why is there God?

God doesn’t need a reason to be

And such an answer in any case

Rests not in humanity.

 

Humans are limited

And God has set those limits

So, trust all-powerful humans

Like you would a cynic.

 

God simply is:

No reason for his being

And there needs to be none

Except of His revealing.

 

Hence, note in His Word

There is no preamble,

Simply “In the beginning God…”

And He is invisible.

 

 

It is critical, however,

To have a reasonable faith

And God is the only such a one,

All others are out of place.

 

“Big Bang” doesn’t cut it

It is neither science nor true,

I believe the Genesis account

And so should you.

 

God is the reason

There is no reason for God,

He always was and will always be:

He is the creator of all.

 

There is no reason for God

God simply is!
