And less than 34
A less than
bouncing baby girl was born
Which the Russells adored.
Like her Mom she was fair
Her weight was exact to the ounce,
However, we didn’t hop her like a ball
Since she wasn’t born to bounce.
A warning to all mothers
That give birth to bouncing babies,
It is illegal to bounce them
And that is no maybe.
She was less than a year at birth
But that child could yell,
Often for nothing, or so it seemed,
So we named her Lynelle.
Later when she grew up
She got in the music mix,
And guess what!
She changed her name to Larix.
Talk about name changing
It was once Lynrics,
Maybe that was her email
So just one more name trick.
A young man came along
Whom we did not know
But as his name was Caines
Her last name had to go.
We gave her a middle name
Which she doesn’t often use
I plan to take it back
Before that too she refuse.
Larix, Lynrics, Christopher Caines
That is now her name,
She appears quite happy with it
So don’t lay any blame.
I wish her a happy birthday
It is this very day
And for those who don’t know,
It is the 23rd of May.
I thank God for this child
And her mother, too
And believe me when I say that,
I really do.
Celebrate with us today
That is Lynette, Michael and me
As we give God thanks and praise
For this precious, no bouncing baby.
