What a blessing is the dawn
Particularly after the night!
What a welcome for the eyes!
What a wonderful blessed sight!
The first rays of the morning sun
The resurrection of a new day
A reminder to one and all
God is excellent in all His ways.
The blind person cannot see it
And neither can the dead
But all who recognise it
Should praise the Almighty Head.
Another day has been given
And with it a great opportunity
To influence someone
Regarding the issue of eternity.
The fact of sin’s night
And the possibility of a new dawn
And the spiritual awakening
That comes when one is reborn.
An opportunity to be born again
The fact of the new birth
The spiritual realisation
Why Jesus came to this earth.
For should twenty-four hours pass
And you are not born again
That is the risk of all risks
And could cause you great pain.
The fact you are reading this
Says today is your day
Why not surrender your life to Jesus
And let him have his way?
Another day may not be yours
To make this important decision:
The most important of your life
It concerns your eternal salvation.
So seize this opportunity now
Grab it with all your soul,
Invite Jesus into your heart,
He will cleanse and make you whole.
What a blessing is the Son!
What a promise for each new day!
A life transformed, a miraculous birth
What a new and exciting way!
