I am Stewart Russell
An extraordinary nutcase,
Any attempt to counterfeit me
Would be a colossal waste.
I am terribly mixed-up
And easily misunderstood
So, to pretend that you are me
Would do you no good.
Let’s take our currency:
The paper denominations,
The least is the two-dollar note
From my recollection.
How useful would it be
To counterfeit this note?
All the time and resources used
Would be a huge joke.
Not worth the effort,
Would be my assessment
Though that it wouldn’t be expected
Might make a difference.
The $100.00 note
Would be a far better deal
And no doubt the reason why
To many it would appeal.
It’s the one to counterfeit
Or at least, the $50.00 note,
And not the two-dollar bill
Unless you are a bloke.
Do not counterfeit
But if you feel you must
Make sure it is worth the effort,
The hype and the fuss.
For the state prison awaits
Any that are caught
And a few years up state
Will be their just lot.
But follow me now
To the gross and ludicrous:
Counterfeiting a $3.00 note…
How ridiculous!
A counterfeit $3.00 note-
With what do you compare it?
Why, I am not even certain
You’d find a relic.
No genuine reality-
There is no familiar slot
So, to counterfeit a $3.00 note
You’d likely be caught.
And who would be tricked?
Not even a moron, I’d say,
None would accept a $3.00 note
As one’s legitimate pay.
There is no $3.00 note,
Not in Barbados at least
Hence you won’t fool anybody,
Certainly not the police.
Let me also mention
If you are not aware,
Counterfeit is not only money
But people looking sincere.
Counterfeit apostles
And counterfeit prophets,
Several using their positions
For material profit.
Creating false expectation
Among gullible people
Who will give out of their need
To buy a miracle.
Spiritual con-artists
Is what I would call them
And I say unapologetically
They are a problem.
Beware of counterfeits
By knowing the genuine article
Whether it be $100.00 notes
Or sincere looking people.
