Sixty years and looking great
How the years have rolled on!
Decade after decade, William
Ever since that first dawn.
Congratulations William
My friend and my pal:
Certainly one of the best friends
That I have ever had.
You’ve had some hard times
There have been successes too
But you were always determine
To do what you had to do.
No quitting with you
No groaning and sighing
And regarding the resolve in you
There is no denying.
When your way was dark
You kept focus on the Light
For Jesus never loses a battle
He has never lost a fight.
Now it’s your time to rejoice
In the success God has brought
We give Him praise today
For the victories he has wrought.
I feel especially honoured
To share in this occasion
On your sixtieth birthday, William
And wedding anniversary celebration.
Seven years of marriage to Magnola
In this union blessed by God
I praise Him for both of you
And the several trips abroad.
Flying through the air together
And crossing the World’s oceans
And now right here at Thorsby
For two anniversary celebrations.
May God grant to you and her
Many more wonderful years
Lyn and I just want to let you know
You are always in our prayers.
