You don’t have to look long to see
There is no replacement theology,
God does not operate like man
Always having to change the plan.
There is no just-in-case with God
He doesn’t make a wrong call,
There is no plan A and/or plan B
On account of something He didn’t see.
God oversees but He does not overlook
If you see what I mean,
He brings to fruition every promise
And I don’t mean in a dream.
He has never made an amendment
To any law that he gave
Because in planning He overlooked
Something considered grave.
Some have this horrible habit
Of picking to pieces God’s plan
And using certain terms and terminology
That should only be used for man.
God sees the end from the beginning
His plan is already complete,
That plan is unfolding in perfection
Even as we speak.
With all that being said
Let me get to the substantial issue:
That there is no replacement theology
As some so-called scholars view.
God did not discard the Jews
And replaced them with the Church,
Like what we hear being noised about
By a number of so-called experts.
Actually, God called out a man
The Bible is replete with such examples
And out of the loins of that man
Came God’s chosen people.
Chosen in the sense that God chose
Not in the sense they were special,
But that a divine plan would unfold
That would include all people.
The Jews were no more special
When compared to any other nation
But out of them would come the Messiah
The source of man’s salvation.
To the Jew first; that’s chronology
As shown in God’s Holy Word
Not the case of some promised favour
To a people God preferred.
To the Jew first as actually happened
As clearly recorded in the Acts
Jews, devout men, out of every nation
Acts 2:5 shows to be exact.
These were the scattered Jews
That were now dwelling at Jerusalem
Where God on the day of Pentecost
Miraculously solved their language problem.
We do hear them speak in our tongues
The wonderful works of God,
Yes, these were all Jews out of every nation
That had been scattered abroad.
It was not the Jews, per see
That had rejected Jesus Christ,
But the religious leaders: the Pharisees and Scribes
That lived by their sacrifice.
It was the common Jews
That embraced and followed him
And welcomed his many messages
On the issue of mankind’s sin.
The religious directorship of the time
Mocked, ridiculed and rejected Him,
They had perfectly kept the Jewish Law
And could be accused of no sin.
They had also missed the boat
Not recognizing the Messiah when he came,
They boasted of knowing the Scriptures
Thus, had only themselves to blame.
But to as many as confessed him
They are all part of the Church,
Part and parcel of the body of Christ,
To know that requires no expert.
The middle wall has been broken down
The Kingdom and the Church are one,
Not two separate entities as some believe
But one in Jesus Christ the Son.
There is no special church for Gentiles
And another for special Jews,
All are grafted in by the Holy Spirit
And this is the biblical view.
Its members are the living stones
Made up of all the redeemed
That comprise the temple not manmade
I
am so happy I could scream.
For, I am one of them-
A living stone, I mean,
I am neither a Jew nor Gentile,
I am one of the redeemed.
I am no part of a plan B
With a subsequent return to a Plan A
All who will come to Jesus Christ
Must come to him today.
Today if you will hear his voice
Harden not your heart as in the provocation,
Right now, is the accepted time
Today is the day of salvation.
There is no replacement theology
Just the unfolding of God’s plan,
No special favours granted to any one
The only hope is Jesus, the God-Man.
He was fully God and fully man
That man could be brought back to God,
No replacement theology, plan A or B
But the Gospel truth that resonates with the Called.
“My sheep hear my voice,”
That is neither Jew nor Gentile
But that is you, me and the whosoever will:
The once cast away and before defiled.
