The truth of a lie

Lies not in the lie, but the fact;

The fact there is a lie

And I mean just that.

 

Someone tells a lie

And it is proven to be so,

The truth is the certainty

And not just “say so”.

 

In the Bible are lies

You should not be surprised,

But so are people

Hence there must be lies.

 

People tell lies,

And we know this is a fact

So, the truth is, they tell lies

And none can deny that.

 

Ananias and Sapphira:

They both told a lie

And when its truth was exposed

They both had to die.

 

So, there is a truth in a lie:

It’s the fact it was told

But then comes the acid truth

When the lie is exposed.

 

Rahab told a lie

And that was the truth

And the fact it’s in the Bible

Is evidentiary proof.

 

God cannot lie

And that is the Gospel truth

What He says, He will do

And we have the proof.

 

 

That men believe a lie

Has proven to be true,

There is no absolute truth, they say,

Is this your view?

 

The truth of a lie

Lies not in the lie but the fact

That a lie was told,

Can’t you see that?
