This Is Who I Am

 

 

I am saved

And sanctified

And on my way to heaven.

I am pardoned

And set free

And definitely forgiven.

 

Glory!

Hallelujah!

I have a reason to shout!

I am an heir

And a joint-heir

And no longer left out.

 

I am delivered

From sin

Though I sometimes fall,

Through faith

And God’s grace

Jesus is my all in all.

 

 

Once a slave

But now a son

By the power of Almighty God,

Through his blood

Shed on a Cross

Jesus is my entire cause.

 

Once blind

But now I see

Jesus opened my eyes,

Once dead

But no longer so

In Jesus Christ I am alive.

 

Glory and praise!

To God on high

My present and my coming King,

I will tell of his goodness

As long as I breathe

And of his wonderful grace I shall sing.
