to the Lord our King

a sacrifice of praise

in with thanksgiving

with the Holy Spirit
Growing
up in holy living
Holiness
becoming the habit
Inquiring
into the sacred word
Joining
its authors’ creed
Knowledge
of the Spirit’s sword
Learning
of the planted seed
Moving
on in our daily life
Noting
the things we’ve learned
Opting
to avoid all strife
Praying
about every concern
Querying
a misguided direction
Resisting
the urge to ridicule
Showing
to others God’s affection
Telling
no one he’s a fool
Uniting
in the single purpose
Vindicating
a sincere friend
Walking
each day with Jesus
X-raying
at each day’s end
Yielding
to God’s controlling
Zealous
always of witnessing
