Of Heads and Bosses

 

 

The man is the head of the home

But that doesn’t make him boss,

If there are any bosses in the home

That home is experiencing loss.

 

The man is head of the woman

Even as Jesus is head of the Church,

But this has been misinterpreted

By many a so-called expert.

 

“He can’t be no head over me,

He must first earn it.”

Yes, that is coming from a Christian,

That is her edict.

 

 

The headship of the woman

Is not what a man can merit

But that authority comes from Almighty God

Who takes all the credit.

 

“I am the boss in here

And I can do whatever I like.”

Yes, that too is coming from a Christian

But he has no such right.

 

Search the Bible all through

And you won’t find the word boss,

Some may argue not the actual word

But in that too they have lost.

 

There is no boss in the family

And being boss doesn’t make a man,

And in any case as we have seen

Boss is not akin to God’s plan.

 

 

Male and female he made them both

To walk with hand in hand,

He is the head to take care of her

And together they execute God’s plan.

 

That is, raising up godly seed-

The mission of them both

And filling the earth with the love of God

From coast to coast.

 

She was taken from his side

To walk alongside,

Never ahead of him or behind him

Or for him to despise.

 

No boss in the family

I must repeat,

Just a head as God designated

And the head’s helpmeet.

 

As a body without a head is useless

So is a head without a body,

And when a head becomes a boss

That’s the recipe for anarchy.

God Has the Final Say

It will take more than a President
Or a presidential change
To sort out a country
That is terribly deranged.

America is distraught
For a lack of knowledge
And suffering in the pangs
Of religious sacrilege.

It will take far more
Than getting rid of Donald Trump,
Compared to America’s Mount Stinkeroo
He was a mere hump.

 

Trump did not have the answers
And neither does Biden,
Moral and spiritual decay
Is at the heart of its problem.

 

One Nation under God?
That is farcical and hypocritical!
In God we trust
Was another time and another people.

A humongous religious movement
But such will not help
And in the fires of these times
Religion will only melt.

A departure from the God of the Bible
Is the principal cause,
The devil, like a great albatross
Holds America in his claws.

A departure from God’s building block
Which is the nuclear family
Is the recipe for national disaster
And spiritual disunity.

It’s a bedding down
With the adversary of the human soul
And no amount of political rhetoric
Will make America whole.

 

Settling for less
Than the biblical blueprint
Is worse than a sovereign country
Now basically paying rent.

I make no apologies
If this sounds like a funeral dirge
But what is coming to America
Is worse than any COVID SURGE!

Return America
From the morass you have become,
Turn away from your sodomy
And seek out God’s Son.

His blood is still efficacious
And potent to save
And to pluck you out of the claws
Of the devil, your knave.

 

One nation under God
Is the best place to be
But it will take more than an emblem
To attain to that possibility.

Righteousness exalts a nation
But sin is a reproach
And I dare say, America,
On the forbidden, you have encroached.

Turn from your sodomy
And your transgender ways,
There is hope for the penitent
It matters not how far he has strayed.

Transformation not transgender
Changes a life from within
And it is still an established fact
That Jesus saves from sin.

Here is a word for every country
Whether big or small,
No nation can succeed
Outside of God’s divine call.

Call all this garbage
Or gibberish if you may,
But I tell you that in all matters
God has the final say.

All in the Family

My father is my son’s grandfather,

Think with me, that’s two!

My son is my father’s grandson,

Two again, yes, that’s true!

I am my son’s father

While he is my son,

Two fathers and two sons

 Make four, that’s fun!

So far though,

 We’ve only mentioned three:

Grandfather, father and son,

Hope you see.

Or is it grandson, son and father,

This three?

Family is so mixed-up,

Which can it be?

You see, my father and my son’s grandfather

 Are one and the same.

Similarly, my son and my father’s grandson,

Yes, that’s my claim.

Started out with two.

 Suddenly four appear,

Somewhere emerges three,

Something’s not clear.

I guess we could spend all day

 Trying to figure it out,

But it’s all in the family

 And that’s what family’s about.

Who Are You?

In a country which I won’t name

There are fifteen genders to be taught,

If I were a parent living there

I would be particularly distraught.

Bearing in mind the children’s ages

The authorities would have to be mad,

Of kindergarten age, I am told,

How could any parent be glad?

And it appears it is pretty advanced

Not much anyone can do,

There is even a textbook, I am told,

And its title is “Who Are You?”.

Bear in mind your five-year-old

How would you teach this to him?

“Timmy, you don’t have to be a boy or girl.

Such limitations would be a sin.

After all, God is a God of variety

Just take a look around you,

The possibilities are limitless

Not only for me but for you too.”

Five-year-olds who cannot read

Now trying to discover themselves,

“The book to use is “Who Are You?”

You’ll find them on the shelves.

Turn to page number so and so

You will find the genders there,

We will deal with these fifteen for now

Perhaps some others next year.”

That’s my kind of introduction

Remember, these are five-year-olds,

Whoever the unfortunate teachers are

They would have to be quite bold.

Bear in mind the modern paradigm

Children must construct their own learning,

Hence, videos and demonstrations

To stimulate in them a yearning.

What an introduction to the family!

The bedrock of human society,

Fifteen genders from which to choose

Therein lie tremendous possibilities.

Fifteen different gender variants

They must teach these five-year-olds,

Just dealing with some of the names alone

Would knock some adults cold.

I am hoping this is fake news

Or somebody’s idea of a crude joke,

But my gut feeling is telling me

These miscreants will win the vote.

And if that should ever happen

It will be the beginning of the end,

For education to head in this direction

Is to definitely go round the bend.

Check at the end of this poem

But believe you me, my friend,

Teaching this curriculum will take some doing.

From parent consent to parent mandate

No choice in this sordid matter,

If the vote goes in the proposers’ favour

It will definitely be the latter.

Well, for that promised list

Just check below

And if five-year-olds can learn this stuff,

Then there is much I do not know.
