Celebrate Them Both

 

 

 

Mothers are precious

But so are fathers too,

Without either one of them

There’d be no you.

 

Two in matrimony

Came together as one

And from this amalgamation

You and I were born.

 

 

Mother and Father:

That exact two!

No day should separate them

And neither should you.

 

Seating mothers together

On Mothers’ Day

Should be done away with

Without delay.

 

Similarly for fathers

When Fathers’ Day comes,

Separating out the fathers

Should be shunned.

 

Mothers’ Day is every day

And Fathers’ Day too,

Anything you can do for them

Just do.

 

 

Make no distinctions,

Treat them both alike,

Leave out the favouritism,

It’s just not right.

 

Happy Mothers’ Day

And Fathers’ Day too!

Make Parents’ Day every day

And to both be true.
