Time Tunnel

 

 

There is one thing

“Time Tunnel” proves:

That all of history is already fact

And that God is the One that rules.

 

You and I know it’s impossible

To ever go “Back to the Future”

But at one time or another

We have watched these pictures.

 

What they both prove to me

Is that history is already written:

A line drawn in the sand of all time

And which is there to enlighten.

 

 

If man could create a machine

To traverse both time and space,

No doubt he would see the Creator

And meet Him face to face.

 

God can go back to the future:

To Him past and future are alike,

He knows the ending from the beginning,

It is all exposed to His sight.

 

Nothing is hidden from Him

His is the only time tunnel,

Be it the past, the present or future

All filters through His funnel.

 

Hence, He can control time

Like the day He stopped the sun

So that Israel could be victorious

Before that day had done.

 

 

Scientists say that is impossible,

It is the earth that orbits the sun

But the writer wrote what he observed:

It was not a scientific observation.

  

God holds the future in His hand

It is He that drew the timeline,

The Bible is the only time tunnel

And it is accurate every time.

 

Bible prophecy is without flaw,

All of its prophecies have come to pass

Except for those that are yet to come

And they will be fulfilled at the last.

 

The final resurrection and judgment

The consummation of all things,

The “Behold I make everything new”

And the new dawn His Son brings.

 

Then shall we see as we are seen:

The ones made righteous in Christ

But more than this, our wonderful Lord

The one who was sacrificed.

 

 

No need to time tunnel after that,

In that place we will want to remain;

Call it back to the future if you wish

But I say, “Glory to His Name.”

 

Time Tunnel in the past if you wish

Back to the Future if you must,

I patiently wait for my Saviour’s return

Meanwhile, In God I put my trust.
